  • Operational Lead for Roads Department rationalisation at Stirling Council during unitary authority set up period
  • Member of the General Management Team “Omega” at Weir for Business Turnaround – substantially based around cost reduction and process improvement
  • Helix Project Turnaround as Interim Chief Executive
  • Project Leader in business separation British Waterways 2011- 2014

David has excellent Human Resource & Industrial Relations experience which has been built over the past 15 years. With Trade Union negotiation experience and recent delivery of two successful pay deals in negotiation with Unite / Unison & a further two recent Employment Tribunals, both have been successful for the organisation

With a wide range of senior management experience within both public and private sector David has significant leadership, management & coaching experience which is both adaptable and rapidly deployed.
